For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
-John 3:16

Who is Jesus?

Who is Jesus? It is hugely important question. While Jesus on the earth He asked the same question to His Desciples

Mat 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"

Mat 16:14 They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

Mat 16:15 “But what about you?” he asked. "Who do you say I am?"

Mat 16:16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Mat 16:17 Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."

Yes Simon Peter was right, Jesus is The Christ (which means king or Messiah), The Son of the living God, who bore our sin, died in our place and saved us from the destruction. He is our Lord and Saviour.

I have not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them
-Matthew 5:17

Life of Jesus

Jesus was born in Israel 2000 years ago. Modern civilization marks his birth by dividing time B.C. (before Christ) and A.D. (Anno Domini - or The Year Of Our Lord). For his first thirty years, Jesus lived a traditional Jewish life, working as a carpenter.

In His thirties, Jesus began His public teaching and display of miracles in and around Galilee. Over a three and half year period, Jesus' reputation spread nation wide. The Roman governors and rulers of Israel's provinces and the leaders of the Jewish people (the religious counsels) took note of Him as He continued to manifest His Glory.

    Jesus' key messages included:
  • Love of God and His Forgiveness
  • Love one another
  • Good news: kingdom of God has come to earth
  • Reality of judgment to heaven or hell

Jesus was delivered over to death for our Sins and was raised to life for our Justification
-Romans 4:25

Why Jesus Died On the Cross?

Jesus Died for our Sins. Well what is Sin? Sin is disobedience to God. Who has sinned? The Bible affirms that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Just as Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden and were separated from Him, today you, me and all men have done wrong and have been separated by our sin from God. Unless our sins are forgiven by God, we will be lost when He comes to judge the world at the end of time.

Hebrews 9:22 says Without the shedding of Blood there is no forgiveness of Sin( ). So it was very necessary for someone sinless to die for the remission of all people’ sin. But there was no sinless person so God himself came here on Earth in Human form born of the virgin and died on the cross according to the Prophecies and The Law.

But Death could not hold Him, On The Third day Jesus Rose from the grave by Conquered The Power of Sin(that is Death) . forty days later He ascended into the Heaven making a way for us to be saved.

At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
-Philippians 2:10-11

What must you do to be saved?

It is a question that you, and all men, must find the answer to.

First know that Salvation is only through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.(acts 4:12)

What you must do to be saved:
  • Hear the Gospel
  • Believe in Jesus
  • Repent of your sins
  • Confess your faith
  • Be Baptized
  • Receive the seal of the Holy spirit
(Acts 2:33-38, Acts 8:12, Acts 8:26-40)

Would you pray this prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to your awesome presence, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
